Cancellation & Refund Policy

IMPORTANT NOTICE
This Cancellation & Refund Policy applies to all purchases made through Daxtack CI. By making a payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by this policy.
1. General Refund Policy
1.1 Subscription Plans
All subscription plans (monthly, quarterly, or annual) are subject to the following refund conditions:
- 7-Day Money-Back Guarantee: If you are not satisfied with the Service within the first 7 days of your initial subscription, you may request a full refund.
- Pro-rated Refunds: After the initial 7-day period, refunds are calculated on a pro-rated basis for the unused portion of your subscription period.
- Non-refundable Items: Setup fees, custom integration fees, and one-time consultation charges are non-refundable.
- Renewal Periods: Subscription renewals are subject to the same 7-day refund window from the date of renewal.
1.2 One-Time Purchases
One-time purchases, including but not limited to usage credits, premium features, and enterprise licenses:
- Eligible for refund within 7 days of purchase if unused
- Partial refunds available for partially used credits at our discretion
- Custom development and implementation services are non-refundable once work has commenced
2. Cancellation Policy
2.1 How to Cancel
You may cancel your subscription at any time through:
- Your account dashboard under Settings → Billing
- Contacting our support team at service@daxtack.com
- Sending a written request to our support email
2.2 Effect of Cancellation
Upon cancellation:
- Immediate Effect: Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period.
- No Auto-Renewal: You will not be charged for subsequent billing periods.
- Access Rights: You retain full access to premium features until the end of your paid period.
- Data Retention: Your data will be retained for 30 days after cancellation. After this period, data may be permanently deleted unless otherwise required by law.
- Downgrade to Free Tier: After the paid period expires, your account may be automatically downgraded to the free tier (if available) with limited features.
2.3 Re-activation
You may reactivate your subscription at any time. If reactivated within 30 days of cancellation, all your previous data and settings will be restored. After 30 days, data restoration cannot be guaranteed.
3. Refund Process
3.1 How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, please follow these steps:
- Send an email to service@daxtack.com with the subject line "Refund Request"
- Include your account email, order/transaction ID, and reason for the refund request
- Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days
- If approved, refunds will be processed within 5-7 business days
3.2 Refund Method
Refunds will be issued using the same payment method used for the original purchase:
- Credit/Debit Cards: Refunded to the original card within 5-7 business days
- UPI/Net Banking: Refunded to the source account within 5-7 business days
- Wallets (Cashfree): Refunded to the wallet or source account within 3-5 business days
3.3 Processing Time
Please note that while we process refunds immediately upon approval, the time for funds to appear in your account depends on your financial institution and payment method. It may take 7-10 business days for the refund to reflect in your account.
4. Non-Refundable Circumstances
4.1 Violations and Abuse
No refunds will be provided if:
- Your account has been terminated due to violation of our Terms of Service
- You have abused the Service or engaged in fraudulent activities
- You have violated our Acceptable Use Policy
- You have chargebacks or payment disputes pending
4.2 Service Usage
Refunds may be denied or reduced if:
- You have extensively used the Service beyond reasonable trial usage
- More than 50% of your subscription period has elapsed
- You have downloaded or exported significant amounts of data
- You have integrated the Service extensively into your production workflow
5. Fair Use Policy
We reserve the right to deny refund requests that we reasonably believe to be:
- Fraudulent or made in bad faith
- Part of a pattern of abuse (multiple refund requests from the same user)
- Requesting refunds after extracting significant value from the Service
- Using the refund policy to obtain free temporary access
6. Cashfree Payment Gateway
6.1 Payment Processing
All payments are processed securely through Cashfree, our authorized payment gateway partner. Daxtack CI does not store your complete credit card, debit card, or UPI information.
6.2 Payment Gateway Fees
Payment gateway charges and transaction fees are non-refundable. If a refund is issued, you will receive the amount paid minus any payment gateway fees.
6.3 Payment Disputes
For payment-related issues or disputes with Cashfree:

- We will work with Cashfree to resolve the issue

7. Chargebacks
7.1 Chargeback Policy
If you initiate a chargeback with your bank or payment provider without first contacting us:
- Your account will be immediately suspended pending investigation
- You may be liable for chargeback fees and legal costs
- Your account may be permanently terminated
- You may be blacklisted from future use of the Service
7.2 Dispute Resolution
We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any billing disputes before initiating a chargeback. We are committed to fair resolution of all payment issues.
8. Enterprise & Custom Plans
8.1 Custom Agreements
Enterprise customers with custom agreements may have different refund and cancellation terms as specified in their individual contracts. In case of conflict, the custom agreement takes precedence.
8.2 Minimum Commitment Periods
Some enterprise plans may have minimum commitment periods. Early cancellation may result in:
- Early termination fees as specified in the contract
- No refund for the remaining commitment period
- Payment of remaining balance due
9. Free Trial & Beta Access
9.1 Free Trials
Free trial periods (if offered):
- Can be cancelled at any time without charge
- May require payment information but will not be charged unless trial converts to paid
- Limited to one trial per user/organization
- May have restricted features or usage limits
9.2 Beta Features
Access to beta or experimental features is provided "as-is" and is not grounds for refunds. Beta features may be removed, modified, or discontinued at any time without notice.
10. Downgrades & Plan Changes
10.1 Downgrading Plans
When downgrading to a lower-tier plan:
- Mid-Cycle Downgrades: The downgrade takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No pro-rated refunds are issued.
- Feature Loss: You acknowledge that downgrading may result in loss of access to certain features and data.
- Data Migration: It is your responsibility to export any data before downgrading.
10.2 Upgrading Plans
When upgrading to a higher-tier plan:
- Upgrades take effect immediately
- You will be charged a pro-rated amount for the remainder of the billing period
- The new plan amount will be charged at the next renewal
11. Taxes & Duties
All prices are exclusive of applicable taxes, duties, and levies unless otherwise stated. You are responsible for payment of all applicable taxes. Taxes are non-refundable even if a refund is issued for the service fee.
12. Force Majeure
We are not liable for any inability to provide services or process refunds due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, natural disasters, government actions, pandemics, cyberattacks, or payment gateway outages.
13. Changes to This Policy
We reserve the right to modify this Cancellation & Refund Policy at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on our website. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified policy.
For subscriptions purchased before policy changes, the original policy terms apply for the duration of the current billing period.

15. Governing Law
This Refund & Cancellation Policy is governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from this policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
